haven't been myself lately. everything's just draining me and i hate it! this shall be the only post i'll be straight forward with. many things are kept within myself for QUITE some time now.

you: you know that i can't let go. you know that those tears were wept for you. you will always be my favourite hello and hardest goodbye.
jk: there seem to be some tension in between us. i don't know why but i guess stress from all the projects are tiring us out. communication breakdown? i don't know. i just feel that we're getting more impatient with each other. i do appreciate you my bestie, just that i can't stand it when you get fed up - it makes me vexed too. (i don't wish to see you upset anymore)
those i see on fridays and sundays: it didn't seem to matter if i'm there or not, it's you guys who matter still. (oh, and the attendance) no one knows my thoughts, no one really bothers. come on, face it! it's been a LONG time and you'd have realised it by now or even earlier. but what's keeping you mum? i wish, i didn't have to see you guys somemore. it's breaking me up!

almost a week yet i still think of you every day.
school's been rather hectic for me. many assignments on hand, on top of that are all the procedures for my overseas internship. resume, application forms, parental acknowledgement and interviews. select me and i'll go!

walked love to the bus stop in the morning. went online for a while before heading to bed again. we were supposed to meet at 4p.m but the lazy bones only woke up at 3.45p.m. (i'm sorry, love.) both decided to dress down for the hot weather. shopping spree and movie was good. it has been a long time since i last relaxed like this. dinner was ultra filling. we went spageddies! nim's island is one of a fantasy story. a rather draggy film. 2 stars i would give it, for the scenes which made me laugh.

it seemed like a pretty long time since i last posted an entry. no motivation to do so. first week of school don't look a single bit rosy. now that all the projects are finding their way into my hands, i'm feeling the stress! and i'm so confused about whose group i'm in for whichever module. went mind cafe this evening. food is not bad. many games and screams can be found.
starters: clam chowder and potato salad.main: carbonara, salmon, marinara, fish and shrooms pasta.dessert: brownie with vanilla ice- cream. the ultimate! i love this.

we had two hours of break and thus decided to head ang mo kio hub for brunch.
beef noodles. nice! esther, JK and i.not forgetting the beauty queen, grace!had another two hours of break before the additional make- up class start. feeling hungry, i went for pasta! filling it was. then dinner was next! had steamed chicken, "cha siew", "tofu" and rice. it was simply delicious. went to watch "street kings" at the cathay with johnny. 2 1/2 stars i would give it.

braved through the heat of the sun. was late to meet JK (my apologies). queued for the most important stuff- notes, at one of the most in- demand shops- printing shop. stood and waited for plastic seats to fill my empty tummy at one of the most mouth- watering places not- "kofu".
i anticipated the first day of school without all these rush and the unbeatable warm weather. well, school was great for the fact that i can see all my friends again and it ended one hour earlier! but not so when i forgot to take pictures with my clique. we agreed to wear black today! (that explains the heat we experience).

fell sick since thursday night. caught a terrible cold.
woke up at 2:30p.m on friday. cancelled tuition and headed to love's place. (i'm glad i did) not knowing where to alight, i missed one stop. will always remember the finger- hooking promise.
saturday saw the worst of me. went to church via train, i stood throughout the ride. wore longs and jacket yet i still feel cold and faint. the church's air- conditioners are at full blust! i was shivering despite the fact that i had two jackets wrapped around me like a dumpling. then met up with jocelyn as i wanted to attend this close- door special sale. afterwhich, we bought dinner home. she stayed over to "look after" me but i played host.
woke up at love's sms. then jocelyn shook me shortly after. we had a filling brunch. honey cereal in milk, noodles, campbell's soup and aloe- vera sweet- bitter dessert.

lazy, yes i am. how i used to long staying at home all day. yet now, it's boring me out! i don't want to work (long hours) and get paid peanuts. i need fast money like event jobs. had a good two- hour chat with bestie over the phone in the early morning. headed gym at around 3:30p.m then home to change before meeting bestie for dinner. terrible working hours today- 1 to 10p.m. met up with august, fairul and frankie after dinner. went window shopping and chilled at spinelli. aug and fai.frank, aug and i.then met darren, garry and joanne. head home together.
before i left, bestie called to say he wanted to pass me something bought from japan during his trip earlier this month. air- flown chocolates and cakes! thanks bestie! it was really sweet of him. rest early.

was awaken by the rattling noise of the rain this morning. planned to attend combat class at 10:30a.m and since it was raining, i decided to skip it. but when i couldn't get back to sleep, the rain stopped! headed to the gym anyhow.
job "interview" with nigel and huifang. (at my previous workplace.) met up with nigel for lunch first but as usual, he was late!
had mac'donalds nuggets and drink after the "interview" then headed for impromtu movie. (again!) and cam- whored! we were bitching throughout the whole meet- up. "pork- chops" were extremely hilarious. the three of us have something in common- observation skill. i still can't stop laughing at huifang's "what's with the shoes?".

went for the long- awaited sun- tanning session with JK. heaven's always on my side- no rain during sun- tanning sessions!

am finally into my "holidays". turned away all appointments for the day and went out with my love! watched "definitely maybe"! a nice film i would say.bought caramel pop- corn. the packaging is so cute, i didn't dare hold it. headed to cafe pralet (near my place) after dinner. nice ambience, nice dessert, nice people.

this was candid!hot chocolate, fragrant yet not thick. slurp!warm brownie with rum and rasins ice- cream. sweet!pralet chocolate cake. delicious!

had brunch in bugis. passed by this "guan- yin- miao" (my first time). so many people were in there!headed to haji lane for photo- whoring. (apologise, i led the wrong way!)jeanie on the swing!this bench caught my eye. (i sat on it!)i totally have no idea what "PWNS" means.love this place.went paragon for dinner after gym.
steamed chicken. tender!chilli "kang kong". crunchy yet a little spicy!stir- fry venison. delicious!prawns, sauce aside. simply fantastic!steamed fish. fresh!shopping was fine. many shops were already closed at 9.15p.m. feeling full but not quite satisfied, i wanted to grab a cup from natural but forgot about it the moment i step out of the washroom. couldn't get ice- cream from Mac'Donalds so bought a big tub of Ben & Jerry's from the convenient store. (for indulgence at home!)
a confession to make here. i deleted (over-write) some photos (especially the one i took for eric and melissa) accidentally. i feel so bad now. i promise to take more and better photos for you both next time, alright?

first, happy birthday to zeb!
it's the second last day of attachment. i am so looking forward to year three! i would prefer semester schedule to normal working hours.
presentation was at 3p.m but i stained my white g- star with chilli at 2.15p.m! grabbed a shirt at 59 bucks after the meal. got it ironed and changed into it!

have been in a rather disturbed mood these two days. was still fine in the morning until after the usual nag by mr. wong. then isolated myself in the other research room to complete a power- point for tomorrow's sharing session. skipped lunch. only had bbq chicken sandwich and milo bought by JK. stayed in that room from 9a.m to 4.30p.m! (not to mention the toilet breaks.) well, the power- point is done!
headed to lucky plaza for dinner at this cafe- restaurant, "ayam- penyet" with some of my team- mates. (i didn't want to go but it was already planned, like last week? and reservation was made.)
i was rather disappointed with the service but worst with the food.
starter: gado- gado. (well, i never eaten gado- gado before, so ain't sure how it is supposed to taste like.) this tasted heaty to me. (with all the peanut sauce or was it satay sauce?)main: fried chicken penyet (with rice). chicken tasted sub- normal and dry (gave half away). egg crumbs are not too bad. "tao- hu" and "kang kong" were plain simple. the slice of "don't know what" tasted funny (i gave it away too). white rice is hard! and to make everything worse, chilli is super ultra damn spicy! one dip and it will cost you at least one glass of water (i am not kidding!) this is deadly! what is so nice that keep people queueing for this? (apologies to minghao as he seriously love the chicken. was he also the one who suggested this?)
plucked in to my ear phones most of the time today, trying to keep my ears from the voices around me. (be quiet!)
hydrate the face and go to bed.

had eye infection again. this time, the lump is at my lower right lid. skin rash on my feet, ain't know the cause of it and it's keeping me awake these two days. worst of all, doctor's not available today.
obliged and went for pilates and combat with jocelyn. then did some shopping before stopping at The Coffee Connoisseur for late dinner.

had a wonderful brunch at the long- forgotten market near my place. saw christopher lee there too. and as i was leaving for the gym, i saw him again. this time, outside my place. took a photo with him.took a cab to benjamin's penthouse for the seasonal class gathering. quite a nice place but rather inaccessible for me. love the dining area.

sun- tanning during lunch time was great, except that showering in the all silent and lonely shower room felt errie and ghostly.

driving lesson was hell for me today. i simply couldn't do it! think i should just give it up; just get a chauffeur! my mood was spoilt. sort of argued with the instructor, again.
instructor: how come your steering so slow? can faster or not? people only need three to four times to steer the whole wheel. how come you can't even do it with five to six times?
i: (keeping my cool) can you be more patient with me or not? i'm already so "gan jiong" (yes, such a word actually came out from me), can't you understand? slowly, can?
instructor: (embarrassed) okay, okay. try again.
just ain't in the mood for anything today. the much anticipated dinner with ex- kayakers got cancelled. i lazed on my bed after the unfruitful work- out in gym.
took my time to wash and dress up, after countless hounding. went dinner with dad, mom and aunt. we had "bak gut tea" at havelock road, somewhere near the temple. i was sceptical about the food and still am. (fats and oil!) yet my parents kept complimenting how good the food is. i felt so disgusted! (at the sight of the crowd and sinful bowls, not to mention the heat and poor service.)
this was taken at the end of the meal; sparing my readers from the disgust of fats and oil from these bowls.
i'm feeling hungry again. a happy shot to end the day.took some self- shots on the bed. artistically done! i'm sure you will not find these on my blog. alright, maybe soon!

today marks the start of the 10- day Singapore's Fashion Festival. dressed up, even though i was about to be late for school- work this morning!
subway for brunch. parmesan bread, toasted. mayonaise and honey mastard sauce. prickles. olives. cheese. lettuce. macademia nut cookies. ice- lemon tea. i still feel hungry after that.

school- work was busy today! i am so looking forward to the weekends. took some photos, will leave two here.
part time and i.huang peng and i.went for tuition after sch- work. the boy's mom told me it will be my last lesson today, initially. (well, it's pay day!) was rather glad and sad. first, glad because it means that i have more time for family and myself. was sad as it meant no more income for me. then she changed her mind shortly after - which disrupted whatever i planned to do.
well, i'm thinking of giving this tuition kid up. it's really too far from my place. and that would mean i need new tuition assignments! people, please help me keep a look- out. i need those near town! deeply appreciate.

the games committee, which consist mainly of people from the humanlink, planned something totally uncalled for. being skeptical about the whole event, i went ahead with it (without a choice.) and since i'm there, i might as well enjoy myself. ("rara- ed" the team!)
getting ready for the "set- off" stage. well, my team set off first!left: at the amphitheatre where we "fished" 10 balls out from the "pool".
right: at the longest staircase. a test of our memories. orange, blue, red, green, pink.
9 game stations we went. some fun, some not so. totally disliked the floorball game (master) - a waste of my (our) time!

hot red tuesday! went sun- tanning during lunch time. (you may view photos from my friendster) had a wonderful time of solitude. i should do this more often! headed to the gym after school. attended the long- forgotten combat class with jocelyn. i was seriously worn- out (after two days of insomnia). we were then supposed to head home for dinner but.. chilled at The Coffee Connoisseur.
nice ambience.we shared this beef sandwich. juicy!hers: sesame milkshake. tasty!mine: oreo mocha with whipped cream. fragrant!candid! love her dressing today. nice!due to the disturbed night and lack of sleep, i have totally no mood to dress up for the day. looked super "un- glam" or what many call "chui".
bestie and i.wonderful conversation we had, a good three hours! both enjoyed each other's company and stories. how i wish time wouldn't pass so quickly. love this bestie of mine!

was doing tabulation for those surveys till 4a.m this morning. couldn't fall back to sleep. was then reminded of hidayah. i am supposed to bake cookies for her! been wanting to do this for a long time too. it's now time! (to fulfill my word and do what i procrastinated since the year started.)
one egg and a stick of butter.add in the "ready- made" flour with chocolate chips.mix the dough thoroughly.break the dough into small pieces and set it onto ungreased baking tin.fresh from the oven!the big ones.the little ones.all in all, i made 89 cookies. the F&N skills are put to use. the tired body is satisfied with these! (cheers!)
the sleepless night made me even more tired. two days of insomnia not!
the neck aches. the tummy hurts.

the festive season marked a public holiday for all. yet woke up at 8a.m religiously. driving lesson in the morning was horrendous.
met dinah for brunch and i had "zha jiang mian". it was nice!
afterwhich, the easter drama.bestie waited for me till 7. 25p.m before we headed to "happy valley" for our long- awaited late dinner.

had a tiring day. went gym for a short while before meeting up with besties for dinner. crave for the chicken wings and swedish meatballs at ikea restaurant! but we ended up in "xin wang" hong kong cafe at anchorpoint instead.
glutinous balls in ginger soup.shrimp "har gow".the recommended "popiah". crispy!eel porridge in hotpot. tasty!fried rice with pork floss.sliced beef with egg rice. baked fish fillet pasta.you can't imagine where this is. lovely! he stepped on my toe!and before we part.
i ponder upon. why? these happenings are taking a toll on me. and the worst thing is, i can't do anything but to watch this happen. how long more must i bear with? i'm insomniac!

somehow. i don't feel good. i am as if, cut off from you all. seems like, i don't have a place. so much for the talk about unity. obviously i am not alright but it seems like no one bothers. just how much do you all know about me? enough of the superficial stuff. there really isn't any depth in our friendships. why most conversations never fail to bring people down? or has it already become necessary? i feel sick. i am doubting my own ability to communicate with you all. and now, i can only depend on myself.

the day started with a really bad and sad news. team 3 is disbanding. my heart sank at the voice of mr. michael. no idea why but i feel sad inside of me. without noticing, tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably. it was an ugly sight, i had to excuse myself. it didn't take us months and years before we were so bonded. team 3 was like a family. it was a feeling i didn't know how to describe.

today marks the end of my call centre stopover. am so looking forward to this day as i am really sick of making calls. however, i will miss the people whom i used to work with.

i was utterly disappointed by my hairdresser. after being a loyal customer for so long, he still made me wait despite the fact that i made the appointment earlier. my hair look untouched! one hour in the salon was wasted and half the time, i was sleeping. i am super dissatisfied!
all the rush was to make it for dinner at home. grandmother, uncles, aunt and cousins will be at my place and i definitely don't want them to wait for me to start dinner. yet, the urge to hurry ceased when i stepped home. i have no idea why. i don't want dinner anymore. i don't want to "lau yu sang" anymore. i am tired. i didn't utter a word. the sight of food now makes me puke! i just want to be alone, quiet and asleep.

anna, she stood by me during one of my lowest points. heart her to bits.knowing that i was unhappy, she bought belgian chocolates for me! i'm moved, to tears.met up at chinatown for dessert. this walnut paste is nice. too bad i couldn't finish. bestie ordered the usual, hashima with papaya.

had so much to say, yet i couldn't quite put them into words after i logged into blogger. the past weeks had been great, probably the journey i never will have the chance to experience, again. i thank you for the things you have done. i appreciate it very much, really.
days passed just like that. many things went through my head. (not that it's a bad thing but..) perhaps it's time i learn to take things slow. it's time i look at the bigger picture and make wiser decisions.
people enter my life, some stay while some, leave (whether they choose to or not, it doesn't matter, anymore.)
as my heart pounds, the beat grows to become slower and weaker. i can hear the thumping sound while all is quiet around me. nothing else matters anymore.
went Genting and KL over the weekend. it was a painful seven hours of coach ride yet everything appears to be calm. the scenery. the people. the place. the food. all i could hear was my own voice.
the two- day trip serves as a good wake- up call and some self- reflection for me. we all have choices in life. be sure to make the right one.

went for manicure and pedicure at hollywood secrets. a good but tiring one hour spent. felt ticklish when the pedicurist massaged my soles. i simply burst out in giggles and the rest of her colleagues were laughing at me.

he posed for my camera.they were making a lot of noise outside takashimaya, caused an obstruction in human traffic flow.

went south changi restaurant for dinner. it was by the sea! wonderful setting for a fantastic dinner.from left to right: crab steamed in tochew style, hot plate venison, baby kai lan, steamed fish.

from left to right: nigel, lina, i, elsie, huishan, yasser, clairence.the cam- whores at work. during lunch break. my best buddies in school, better known as my darlings (grace, jasmine and liling). liling took leave from this cam- whore session as she can't take the glamour anymore. heart them!took a half day off work. went k- session with a few of my secondary school mates. fun time we had there, not to mention the faulty microphone which dampened our spirits for a while. from left to right in the middle photo: ezra, junhao, anna, kelvin and i. we had dessert soon after the voice- breaking gathering inside a box. i had walnut paste, the rest ate mango with pomelo.after which, i attended a post- christmas dinner with some friends. a place i dreaded most (i believe most people do) - steamboat dinner at marina south! i would prefer a steam room or sauna room. grimy and unhygienic place with a touch of pungent putrid reek. anyway, it was a good time spent although i did not eat much. enjoyed cam- whoring!rushed from marina south to kallang. went to cosy bay for a drink and some finger food (including pizza). yes i admit, am fond of drinking. beer actually, how now? i don't want the belly! a great time out!

yes i was already bushed then. cam- whored till the last minute.

christmas was great! simple yet fun. had chances to mingle around and make new friends. in short, i enjoyed christmas day this year!

one of the dishes i had for dinner. lobster sashimi. it was amazing because it was still alive when dished out. no idea how they (the chefs) did it, but it was simply eye- catching.

though we missed "songs of the sea", the night see us through enough seafood till the end of year! glad.

school has started for me already. am attached to the call centre in school currently. life has been good so far but rather tiring as i'm still under training until the end of week. will have my own table from next week onwards. a good two months of calling customers and another two months somewhere else. well, am kinda beat now. just hope that i can wake up on time every day.

had a fun and enjoyable day with my ex- colleagues. will miss them.a random shot. (i like!)our trip to sentosa on a pouring day. images of singapore. i learnt much. (cough!)

the focus here is the sampan!.this sam- sui woman scared me. she's green!this' the match- maker. she/ he.. (i don't know) talks and moves! as we journey through the cultures and practises of the different social groups in singapore, it somehow impresses me how far else we can go as an individual, as a nation. (okay, this' doesn't sound like me- at all! but anyway) i believe we all learn through the journeys of life. some good, some not so. it's always the journey that stretches us, not the destination.

(my other part time)went white dog cafe for dessert after dinner elsewhere.heart this.life is unpredictable. we may all have flawless plans for our bright future whatsoever, yet forgot to embrace beautiful today (while we still can). don't wait till everything is over before realizing you have not done this one good thing to a particular someone. the past one week seen me through a part of life's frailty. i soon discovered that the smiles around me slowly faded. it isn't the same anymore, it can't be. i wish i can do something.

bratz was wonderful. though the ending scene was a little disappointing, it is a 3 1/2- star movie- i would give it. liked the plot and moral of it- to persist and work hard for the things you hold dearly, not allowing circumstances or oppositions put you down or hinder your direction/s.wishing wen sheng a belated birthday. am so caught up by work since my break from school started and i have yet to meet up with my friends! horrendous indeed. to add on, i have not been going to the gym lately! tell me the extra fats i've gained ain't going away. anyway, went club last night. guess clubbers need more clubbing etiquette! can't understand why people dress up, look "atas" and yet push and elbow their way through throngs of fellow clubbers with that puckered brow and sulking face. (I-S can consider publishing 10 ways to educate clubbers on clubbing etiquette- idea!)

enjoyed myself over the weekend. it was great! went for a bbq party. celebrated bestie's birthday. hope he loved it though it was simple. thanks to jocelyn for making things possible, it was simply fabulous. managed to catch a few movies. bee movie, bratz and enchanted tomorrow night. will be taking cherry to shopping tomorrow as well. she's not familiar with singapore!
well oh, guess i'll be changing my cell phone soon, hopefully by the end of this week. it's an antique! can't wait for that phone!
anyway, been searching for this hair product for some time now. it's wax for the hair, named plant t. so if you happen to come across it or know something about it, please tell me! but i heard singapore doesn't have it.
